The judging process
The Mobile News Awards is judged by a panel of independant mobile industry experts.
The judges will be independent of any company deemed to qualify for submitting an entry. It is a condition of judging that a judge may not have been associated with any company expected to enter for at least 12 months.
Judges will examine each submission before discussing the pros and cons of each entry as a group. They will then privately mark down their individual choice for the top four entrants in each category.
An independent adjudicator will collect each of the judges’ scoresheets and mark the results as follows: first place scores five points; second place three points; third place two points and fourth place one point. The entry with the highest amount of points will be deemed the winner.
